Birds you can spot on the Deoriatal-Chandrashila trek

Everybody knows that Goechala is a great trek for bird watchers. But being a difficult trek, not all get an opportunity to tread it’s trail. This is where the Deoriatal Chandrashila trek comes into the picture. The Deoriatal Chandrashila trek is a trek loved by everybody regardless of age and experience. But we get so engrossed in the beauty of the trail that the magnificent birds that chirp around often go unnoticed. Trekker Prabodh Prabhughate went on the Deoriatal Chandrashila trek in May and came back with a set of mind blowing photos. He even labelled each image with the respective bird’s name! Check them out here!

This year head to Deoriatal Chandrashila to catch a glimpse of these winged wonders. Go there in March/April when the trails burns a fiery red with Rhododendrons in full bloom!

  1. Thank you, Mr Prabhughate, for this excellent collection of bird photos from this trek. I really appreciated the bird identification with each photo. When I go on this trek, I will know what to look for. Makes it more fun.
