As a part of their campaign—Mountain Days—Decathlon invited Sandhya UC, cofounder of Indiahikes, to talk about trekking in our country. This talk was hosted by Mouna Nanaiah, a travel influencer, at Decathlon’s Head Office in Bengaluru—Decathlon Anubhava.

During the talk, Sandhya UC covered a series of points about how one can start trekking in our country. She spoke about how to choose the right trek, how to prepare for it, how to get the relevant gear, the most common rookie mistakes, and also about trekking clubs in our country.

“This talk would add a lot of value to someone who is thinking about pursuing trekking in our country, be it a beginner or someone who has done a couple of treks,” Sandhya says.

This interview was the first part of a three-part series that Decathlon is planning for Mountain Days. It will be published on Decathlon's platform soon. We'll keep you updated about it.
