We're excited to announce that our trek program for the students of Delhi Public School, Bangalore - North, is back in full swing this week!

Our experienced team will take the 6th and 7th standard students on the Harihara Betta trek! The team, comprising of our office and mountain staff along with some interns, has undergone extensive training to help the students get the best out of the trek experience!

This program is a wonderful opportunity for members of our office team to collaborate and bond through the shared experience of guiding and educating the students.

Harihara Betta is not only a beautiful trek but also a great opportunity for the students to learn about sustainability, build confidence, empathy, and appreciate nature.

We continuously evaluate each day's trek and incorporate feedback to improve the program. This has resulted in our students taking away even more evident learnings from the experience.

Yesterday, when the students were reflecting about the trek on a postcard, one student shared that the trek was a "fun-filled experience that taught me about nature and my own capabilities. It was a great start to 2023!"

Izzat Yaganagi, head of Experiential Learning Program at Indiahikes, shares "Our program nurtures self-assurance in students as they discover the beauty of nature and push themselves to stay active!”

“We are thrilled to see that schools are providing their students with the opportunity to explore nature through our treks program. We've been running this program for a long time, and it's always a joy to see the positive impact it has on the students. It's not just about the physical exercise, but also the mental and emotional benefits that come from connecting with nature!” she adds.
