How Adventure Therapy treks are different from other Indiahikes treks
Adventure Therapy Treks are specially designed for individuals seeking personal growth, healing, or transformation. These treks bring together people with similar intentions, guided by a trained counselor or coach to help them work through personal challenges or mental blocks.
Here’s how they stand apart from our regular treks:
- A Shared Purpose – Every participant joins with the common goal of experiencing a shift in their mental or emotional state, unlike regular treks where motivations vary.
- Guidance from a Senior Therapist – A trained professional is always present to facilitate meaningful conversations and reflections.
- Therapeutic Conversations – One-on-one interactions and group therapy sessions are an integral part of the experience, something not found in our regular treks.
- A More Relaxed Pace – The trek is designed to be slower and more reflective, with carefully chosen trails that allow ample time for introspection and clarity.
- A Lasting Support System – The deep, open conversations during the trek create strong bonds among participants. They see and understand each other in ways few others ever have, forming a support group that often lasts long after the trek ends.
Our Adventure Therapy Treks are pioneering in India, far ahead of their time. It's no surprise that they have been featured extensively in some of the country's most renowned magazines.

How we design Adventure Therapy treks
The Therapist's Role
- A compassionate, non-judgmental ear
Therapists provide a safe space for you to express your thoughts, fears, and challenges without fear of judgment. - Guiding the journey
Therapists help participants recognise, understand, and address the spectrum of emotions and experiences on the trek. - Contextualising the trek
Therapists help participants draw connections between the trek's takeaways and their individual goals.
Nature and adventure as a canvas for healing
- Changes in perspective and growing awareness emerge with facilitator guidance. This is enhanced by the beauty of the surroundings, as well as the challenge and adventure of the trek.
A balance of individual and group sessions
- The facilitator seamlessly blends focused individual sessions with impactful group work. The combination sets the stage for deeper awareness and change.
Post-trek follow up
- Participants can engage in an optional follow-up call with the therapist 45 days after the trek. This post-trek session allows for reflection, the reinforcement of newfound insights, and continued support on the path to personal development.
