Gaumukh-Tapovan Trek Of May 13th Cancelled

We are cancelling the May 13th batch to Gaumukh Tapovan.

There has been continuous snowfall on the trek for the past two days. The trail is buried under snow and not safe to trek on right now. Even the forest department has disallowed trekking in the Gangotri region for all organisations for the next five days.

Our previous two batches returned from the trek without completing it.

So we will not be running the May 13th batch.

If you are part of this team, we have two options for you.

Option 1: Opt for a full refund of your trek fee

Option 2: Choose an alternative trek from these two – Har Ki Dun and Dayara Bugyal

The weather conditions on these treks have been pretty stable and we will be running these treks.

Har Ki Dun is an 8 day trek and can coincide with your trek dates — that is from May 13th to 20th. It starts and ends at Dehradun, so you can stick to your current travel plan.

The only hitch is that we will have to open a fresh batch. For this, we’ll need at least 5 people. If at least five of you from your team opt for this, we’ll be able to run it.

Dayara Bugyal would be another great alternative. It is a six day trek. We already have a batch starting on May 13th. We could accommodate you in this.

We’ll refund any balance in the trek fee to your account.

On another note, if your dates are flexible, you’re free to choose any of our treks from our upcoming treks. They’re all open to you. We’ll give you a trek voucher that you can avail any time in the next year.

We hope you understand the situation and can choose an alternative.

Our team will be in touch with you personally and by email soon.
