Documents to carry on the trek

Original and photocopy of government photo identity card. Anything such as a driver’s license, Aadhar card, passport will do. Usually by the forest department asks for your identification. 

Disclaimer certificate. This is an Indiahikes’ document. We ask all our trekkers to sign this document. This is a legal requirement for any adventure activity.

Medical certificate. Trekking is an adventure sport and that we are going to be doing this at a high altitude, which requires you to be medically fit.
We have a medical form that needs to fill in by the doctor after checking your condition. Along with this, there is a self-attestation form as well.

COVID Related certificates. As the government regulations for COVID are changing very frequently, We suggest that you stay updated and carry the required documents accordingly.

Pro tip: Keep important documents in a clear plastic cover and slide them into the inner pocket at the back of your backpack. This keeps them from getting wet.
