“This trek was one of the memorable event in my life. I enjoyed it. Coming to arrangement, We had all the necessary thing for trek. The trek leader is one more inspiration. No partiality and He use take care of each and every persons need. Most eligible person to the position. And really thank to IH to giving this person, as trek leader.”

“This was my first trek and will definitely not be my last. I realized the climb up to Bhrigu Lake was going to be a big challenge for someone who was going to attempt trekking for the first time. But through guidance and motivation from Abhiroop, our trek leader, it was a breeze. There were definitely times when I got breathless, thought this is beyond my reach but Sham Ji and Indrajeet Ji, our trek co-leaders were so encouraging and really pulled the group together and made us push ourselves to finally see the spectacular Bhrigu Lake.”

“Amazing experience. It was my first high altitude trek. IH team managed it pretty smoothly. Trek leader Aashay Surve was always responsible, encouraging and at the same time supercool. Local guides Ravi & Shyam bhai were very friendly, helpful and experienced. Kitchen staff did a wonderful job too, food was awesome. IH field team really made it a lifelong memory for me. The only down sides were – (i) The original plan of getting down from Bhrigu lake was through Panduropa side, as informed in IH website. But, we were asked to return via same route i.e. through Rolakholi on account of snow at Panduropa side, though we noticed that many other trekkers (both individual & through other trek organizations) were going to get down via Panduropa. (ii) Offloading charges paid by us were for 3 days as asked by IH. But, actually offloading was done on 10.06.2017 from Gulaba Camp to Rolakholi Camp and on 12.06.2017 from Rolakholi Camp back to Gulaba.” – Debanjan Basu, batch of June 2017

“Trek coordination : good

Trek duration : good

Food : Awesome

Camp sites : Rolakholi camp site was too populated and dirty !! Some secluded location could be better Tent and sleeping bag : Not clean and in some tents seapage of water occurs. Overall it was good experience and awesome trek!” – Praterk chandiok, batch of June 2017

“The trek was amazing. We had a wonderful time and though the weather kept playing around a bit, we could successfully reach the summit. Most importantly, everyone in the team became more like a family which includes all the co trekkers, trek leader(Venkat Sir), ATL(Mihir) and our trek guide(veeru paji and Suri paji).

The location of the campsites were breathtaking. I remember waking up to the most amazing views everyday. The campsites were properly maintained and the food was amazing. Also, the health and safety protocols are really worth mentioning. The Indiahikes team made sure that we were all properly geared for for the summit day.We were given proper instructions about the clothes, shoes, micro-spikes and garters.

Also, in terms of monitoring our health, the trek leaders and trek guides did an amazing job, we were regularly monitored with oxy-meter and blood pressure reading. Just one feedback..Can we please have some other soups instead of manchow!!! too much manchow soup..” – Rituparna, batch of May 2017

“The trek was amazing. I have been on others treks before with other groups but my experience with India hikes was the best. Everything was well managed, the campsite locations were perfect. The trek leader – Imroz was a amazing person, caring, patient. The food was also too good. I also got a lot of knowledge about AMS and all. Overall I have a amazing time. Thank you for such lovely memories” – Drashti Gada, batch of May 2017
