We’ve got over 2,431 reviews left by our community of trekkers.

There are countless reasons why Indiahikes attracts over 7,500 trekkers each year. Here are a few reviews by a few of them who chose us to deliver a safe, exciting and truly unforgettable hiking experience that they’ll boast about for years to come:

“There is difference between hiking in mountains and hiking in mountains with Indiahikes. I give most of the appreciation to the service and health care provided to the trekkers. Above all stands the nutritional requirements met by Indiahikes. One thing which impressed me compared to the last trek is maintaining a proper documentation of the health condition by providing health cards.

Green trails is something which I will always admire. While there are somethings i would like to bring to the notice. 1. The toilet tents at some camp sites were really placed at spots which were hard to reach.

2 . I found too many flies at the few initial campsites. I hope some kind of sanitation measures would be taken up. Overall Iam a huge fan of Indiahikes and I find no reason to not to opt it for the upcoming treks. Good job. Well done. :)” – Ajay kumar, batch of June 2017

“The whole trek is just awesome. Everything was fine. The food was excellent. All the tent sites had a picturesque view especially lower and upper water sites. The trek leader and the helpers were always there to help us.”

“As it was my first High Altitude trek, I have no complains on the trek. I loved each and every moment while in the trek. Apart from few bad incidents like Backpack was stolen on the first day and the misbehaviour shown by the Trek Leader on the last day, overall trek was AWESOME!” – Abishek Rao, batch of June 2017

“Superb trekking team! Everything was perfect except the sleeping matts and bags. Food, team leader, local team etc! I just cannot get over that wonderful week spent in the mountains. Thanks u team IH.”

“Travel to unravel the mysteries outside, trek to unravel the mysteries within. This is the new mantra that my first trek ( to Hampta Pass) taught me. I am a person who loves to travel (not that I have trotted around the globe much) and I look forward to any trip because I just enjoy the planning, packing and of course the sightseeing. But doing a trek is a life-affirming experience. It is not just about soaking in the bounteous beauty of nature but getting to know about yourself and your reciprocation to nature and fellow beings.

The path to self-realization began right from the moment our Ground Coordinator’s demand for proof of fitness began to sound more serious. IH’s insistence on the pre-trek fitness of every trekker is a move worthy of appreciation. I started walking/jogging and it brought in a sea of difference to my overall wellness. I began to be conscious of my diet and sleep patterns as well. (All this was just a month in advance, but worth the effort.) And I want to ensure that I continue it…So thanks to IH for being the catalyst in my fitness routine.

Then comes the actual journey…the trek itself. At the very outset, I have tremendous gratitude and respect for our Trek Leader Gurudit Singh, Thakur ji and Shyam ji (our alternating sweeper and pilot and all time motivators) and of course the entire team of kitchen staff and helpers. But for them, the trek would not have been the same. The steady hands of Thakur ji gave me the confidence at times when I faltered. Gurudit did his best to keep the team in the right spirit. I just wished we had played more ice-breaking activities like the verbal volleyball. If we had it on Day 1 or one every day in the evening, it would have helped us to build more intimacy.

Nevertheless, the Pass day brought us all together in ways no one could have imagined. The inclement weather outside warmed us within and everyone kept looking out for each other. The exhilaration and the exuberance which filled all my senses while collecting the certificate and wearing the customized IH T-shirt were inexpressible. All I could say to myself was ‘this is just the beginning’. Thank you, IH for your conscientious effort in organizing treks and meticulous execution.” – V Shruthi, batch of June 2017
