“Trek went very well… i loved the place and nature. Our trek leads (Prahalad, Jayram and Jagdesh) are very good and they motivated team members to reach summit. Enjoyed the trek till the last day…. 🙂 Team have experienced a sunny day, heavy rain, cold breeze and finally fresh snow fall at summit day… A very good place to visit in life time… Thanks.” – Raghavendra Nagesh, batch of June 2017

“The trek was amazing! The campsites were beautifully located. Loved every bit of it.. Although you should inform the trekkers that on two of the days we will be getting packed lunch because some people just carry plates. Sharing is always an option but still I feel it is better if the trekkers are informed in advance.”

“Things I loved: Mostly everything. The trek was absolutely wonderful. The way IH had everything in place without much hassle despite ours being the first batch is really commendable. Each campsite being wonderful than the other was a treat to look forward to, everyday. The food was delicious. Special mention of the desserts. I am amazed by how the kitchen staff can do wonders like these at such high altitudes.

The whole of staff were really good and helpful. We played games at all the campsites. It was all lovely! Kudos to the whole team of IH for the top notch organizing 🙂 IH has the best trek leaders. Vishal Negi was an amaaaazing person to have around as a trek leader. On the very first day, he assured us that he was going to be our best friend on the trek. He assured us that he’d be there for anything that we’d need. He told us so many stories, about various expeditions, mountaineering courses etc. all throughout the trek and he was always watching over all of us so well. He’s so knowledgeable.

Vishal’s company on the trek as the trek leader made the trek all the more wonderful! The local guides, Satyadev ji and Rajesh ji were wonderful too. The local stories that they enlightened us with are something to ponder on, even after being back from the trek.

Things that were of problem: – The onward journey from Shimla to Janglik was delayed by 2 hrs. Hence, we reached the basecamp late and everything had to be hurried on though Vishal briefed us rightly about everything. – The return journey from Barua Village to Shimla. The journey was real bad, mostly because of the driving (The roads were actually very good). Half the people in our vehicle threw up and the rest were in verge of throwing up. It’s important that after a tiresome trek, the journey be decent. But, overall, I had a really great experience. I have trekked with IH before and will trek with IH again 🙂 So I will not be the one cribbing about anything much 🙂 Great job, guys!” – Vidhya K Pai, batch of June 2017

“Absolutely LOVED it. In my honest opinion, I do not think it could have gone any better! The team was extremely professional. The highlight of the trek were, for me, the trek leader- Sandeep Verma, and co-guide (sweeper)- Akshay Negi, for all their dedication, sincerity and limitless energy. My special thanks to both! I am proud to have trekked with the two, accompanied by the whole Indiahikes team. Cheers to all” – Satvik Bhatia, batch of June 2017
