What are the insurance premium rates?
The rates are very reasonable. Insurance premium for most of our treks in below Rs 100.
Can the trek be shortened by a day or two?
This varies from trek to trek. Our high altitude trek itineraries are designed keeping in mind the acclimatization process. We would strongly advise you against shortening your itinerary.

Can you tweak the itinerary according to my dates?
If you are joining one of our pre running batches then you will have to stick to the itinerary on the website. The itinerary cannot be tweaked. For a group of 15+ trekkers we can organise a custom batch with a new itinerary.
How do I avail the insurance amount?

If you are already registered and want to avail an insurance, write to your Ground Coordinator. They will help you avail it.
What does the insurance cover?
The Trek Insurance is pretty comprehensive. Trekkers between the ages 8 and 65 years can avail the insurance. Treks up to 20,000 ft are covered. It covers slip and fall injuries, accidents on a road journey (eg. car accident from Dehradun to Sankri), emergency evacuation and Death on a trek.
Do you have insurance for trekkers?
Yes, we have tied up with Religare and outlined an accident insurance plan. You can avail the insurance on the trek registration page. Tick the box that is circled in red.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you choose to cancel your trek, the cancellation charges are as follows.
- Cancellations prior to 30 days from the start of the trek — full refund.
- Cancellation between 30 days and 20 days to the start of the trek — 50% refund.
- Cancellation less than 20 days to the start of the trek — no refund.
For our weekend treks (Nag Tibba, Prashar Lake, Thakoor Top) cancellations charges are as follows.
- Cancellations prior to 7 days from the start of the trek — full refund.
- Cancellations less than 7 days from the start of the trek — no refund.

I’m a repeat trekker. Do I get a discount?
If you’re going on the same trek you went on the last time, then you can do the trek for free.
If you’re selecting another trek, you have to pay the whole trek fee.
I have children. Do they get a discount?
We love young trekkers. Children between the ages 8-12 are eligible for a 50% trek scholarship. This scholarship is applicable for easy to moderate treks such as the Kedarkantha, Deoriatal-Chandrashila, Har Ki Dun, Valley of Flowers, Tarsar Marsar, Kuari Pass and Roopkund.
A maximum of three children eligible for scholarship in each batch. It is on first come first serve bases.

I’m in a big group. Will I get a discount?
If you are in a group of 10+ trekkers then you can avail our group discount. For every 10 trekkers, the tenth trekker can trek for free. This means that for 20 trekkers, two can trek for free and so on.
If you are in a large group of 25, we can probably customise a batch for you if you tell us at least 3-4 months in advance. Write to us on firstname.lastname@example.org about it.
What will the cost be to customise a trek just for our group?
For a group of less than 20 trekkers
You will have to pay Rs 1000 for 20-x trekkers. This means that a batch of 15 trekkers will have to pay Rs 5000 extra, a group of 16 trekkers will have to pay Rs 4000 extra and so on.
For a group of 20 or more trekkers
Apart from the trek fee, no extra charges will need to be paid.
