Can someone else go instead of me?
If you are not able to go on the trek, you can ask your friend to go instead of you.
Here’s what you have to do.
Send an email to your Trek Coordinator with the following details of the new trekker –
- Full Name
- Email address
- Phone Number
You should check with the Trek Coordinator regarding the fitness of the new trekker and get him cleared.
What happens to the money I paid for trekking gear?
There are two scenarios you might find yourself in :
- You cancelled your trek slot and you want the refund for the High altitude trek gear that you paid for.
- You went on the trek but you didn’t collect the trek gear due to unavailability of stock.
In the first case, all you have to do is to mention this when you send us the cancellation email to your Trek Coordinator. We will refund the entire amount back to your bank account from which you made the payment. There will be no deductions.
In the second case too, get in touch with your Trek Coordinator and let him/her know what happened. Not only will we process the refund back to your bank account, but we will take it as serious feedback and ensure it doesn’t happen again.
What happens to my offloading money
Cancelling your trek will cancel the backpack offloading service as well. However, this does not depend on when you cancelled your trek slot.
Regardless of when you cancel your trek, your backpack offloading fee will be refunded to you. The refund will be processed to the card/bank account from which you made the initial payment, with 4% deduction of bank charges.
It is always a sad moment when our trekkers have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. We always encourage our trekkers to come back and complete the trek with us.
Here is our cancellation policy:
- Cancellations prior to 30 days from the start of the trek — full refund with 4% deduction for bank charges
- Cancellation between 30 days and 20 days to the start of the trek — 50% refund,
- Cancellation less than 20 days to the start of the trek – no refund
You will have to send a mail to the concerned trek coordinator prompting us to proceed with the cancellation.

We do not take any cancellation request over the phone.
The refund will be directed to the card/ bank account from which the initial payment was made. We will not refund to any other card/bank account.
