Do I have to pay the service tax?
Yes. This is a government imposed tax. Payment of service tax is mandatory.
Can you include everything, including travel and give me a fee from my home back to my home?
We are afraid that is logistically difficult to manage. We can always help you out with how to optimise your travel. We would have train/flight and bus recommendations that would help you plan. Your Ground Coordinator will also be in constant touch with you, should you need more help with stay at transit points or any other confusions you might have. Your Ground Coordinator will also be putting you in touch with other trekkers of your batch. You can coordinate your travel with them as well.
Do check the Getting There section of our trek guide. It has recommendations from us:
Are there any hidden costs?
No. You can find what is being paid for and what is excluded in the Cancellation Policy on our trek guide.
The trek insurance, should you choose to opt for it, is mentioned on the first page of registration.
What is not included in the trek fee?
The few things that are not included in the trek fee are: food during transit to base camp and during travel back to drop off point. The transport cost for most treks except Hampta Pass, Bhrigu Lake, Prashar Lake, Thakoor Top and Nag Tibba are excluded from trek fee.
The backpack offloading charges and insurance cover are separate if you choose to opt for them. You can find what is excluded from the trek fee in the Cancellation Policy tab on our trek guide.
What is included in the trek fee?
Your trek fee includes food, accommodation (whether in tent or homestays), forest permits, camping permits, safety equipment and services of our expert trek leader and mountain staff. This is from base camp to base camp only.
The few treks where transport to base camp and back is included in the fee are Hampta Pass, Bhrigu Lake, Prashar Lake, Thakoor Top and Nag Tibba. You can always find what is included in the trek fee in Cancellation Policy tab of our trek guide.
