Why alcohol is a big NO at high altitude

Many people like to drink alcohol at high altitude thinking it keeps them warm. They also like to socialise over alcohol. But this not advisable at high altitude. There are numerous ways in which alcohol affects you, and more often than not, it can be fatal.

    Thanks so much for this post! I think it is so important to consider these types of dangers when it comes to alcohol consumption. I had no idea the effect high altitude could have! I think the promiscuous mode that alcohol encourages can definitely lead to more dangerous situations at high altitude.
