Gourab Nandy

Slope Manager

Gourab Nandy is a Graduate of Law from Calcutta University. After graduation, he worked as a professor for some time before migrating into trek leading.
Gourab’s first trek - like a true Bengali - was Sandakphu. He fell in love with the mountains after that.
Gourab loved trekking Alpine style. On his own he has trekked to XXXXX Owing to his selfless nature, Gourab also volunteered during the Nepal earthquake to provide relief to those affected.
After that, Gourab enrolled for and got certified as a First Responder by NOLS in 2018. In the same year he joined Indiahikes. In two years, Gourab led more than 60 batches of Indiahikes.
Now, Gourab is a Slope Manager with an experience of handling two robust slopes of Lohajung and Sankri.
Personally, Gourab is a great cook and a foodie. If you love sweets, especially Rosogolla, then you are already in his heart.
