This is great news for trekkers. The landslide at Karnaprayag, on the Badrinath Highway is cleared. This instantly reduces the travel time by two hours!

In the last week, due to the landslide on this route, trekkers had to detour 70 km via Ukhimath to reach Chamoli. Now trekkers will be able to drive straight from Rudraprayag to Chamoli.

“The weather is also sunny and clear,” reports Tilak Rawat, Experience Coordinator of Valley of Flowers.

Presently all Valley of Flowers groups are running on schedule. We’re constantly in touch with our teams on the trek. We’ll keep posting all relevant updates here.
