Here’s a quick update. There has been a cloudburst in the Pithoragarh region of Uttarakhand. But these rains have not affected the Garhwal region, where our treks are currently running. We are in constant touch with our team on the slopes.

The Roopkund trek and Rupin Pass treks are running smoothly without any issues. There have been slight drizzles and not very heavy rains. All the trekkers are fine.

The cloudburst occurred last night. The Rishikesh-Badrinath National Highway (NH-58) was blocked, but NDRF teams have rushed to the location and it is expected to be cleared up soon.

About Valley of Flowers:

The Valley of Flowers has not been affected by the rains. There has been slight rain on this trail, which has made the meadows more lush. The trek will be running on schedule.
