When our founder, first went to Gaumukh-Tapovan, it was more than a decade ago. But the sight of the Bhagirathi sisters glistening in moonlight never left him. The next time he went, the trek was about Mt.Shivling – a massive mountain that rose from the base to the summit on this trail.

At 14,202 ft. you will see the Neelatal lake against a grey setting with the snow capped Mount Shivling and Mount Meru in the background. The clarity of the view is almost surreal!

Traversing the Gaumukh glacier is one of the most challenging sections on the trek. But ask Arjun, our founder, and he says the glacier holds trekkers in sanctity till date.

Here is a video where Swathi asks Arjun why Gaumukh-Tapovan, a formerly popular trek has still not lost its beauty.

Watch the video to find out what the trek has in store for you.
