There are multiple ways to collect and purify water in the wilderness. On a trek you'll find water flowing streams, dripping from rocks, in the catchment areas, from melting snow, seeping out of underground sources. Many times, you need to make do with the water source you find.

And it's not difficult if you know how to purify water that you find on treks.

In this video, we are sharing some practical approaches to collecting and purifying water for the Himalayan treks. These tips can become very useful on your next do-it-yourself trek.
