Rohini Bughyal offers compelling reasons to camp there. Hidden in the dense forest of Chopta Valley, it is one of the most peaceful spots. You can pamper your eyes, heart, mind and soul with a spectacular view of lofty peaks and forests.

Indiahikes’ exploratory team found this campsite while trekking in the forest of Chopta, which links Deoriatal with Chandrashila. When the team landed at Rohini Bughyal, they were stunned. A serene and secluded meadow, surrounded by the most beautiful rhododendron forests greeted them. The lofty peaks of Kala Parvat dominate the distant view. They light up majestically with the receding sun. This unmatched view of the sunset is a major highlight for camping here.

Rohini Bughyal is also one the quietest campsites. It is nature at its subtle best. The chirping of birds and sound of wind whistling through the forest trees are all you can hear. Spotting a variety of Himalayan birds from this camp is no Herculean task. It is a good idea to carry binoculars to observe birds here.

If you need to see it to believe it, take a look at this video, where Vaibhav Chauhan gives you a peek into Rohini Bughyal and some insight into the campsite.
