Two earthquakes, with their epicentres on the western border of Nepal, were felt today afternoon. One around 2.25 p.m. and the next around 2.51 p.m. The tremors were felt in the northern region of our country.

This report is to let you know that all our trekkers are safe on their treks. Here is a trek-wise update:

Uttarakhand: Dayara Bugyal team is back safe at Raithal Campus after completing the trek. They are doing well. Har Ki Dun and Phulara Ridge trekkers are on the trek and safe. Kuari Pass teams barely felt the tremors, are safe and doing well.

Himachal Pradesh: Two groups of Rupin Pass and Buran Ghati teams are on the trek. All are doing good.

West Bengal: Sandakphu-Phalut trek is running on schedule. They said not feel any tremors. All trekkers are safe and expected to be back to the base by tomorrow.

We are constantly in touch with our trekkers through walkie-talkies, and are receiving updates that all groups are safe and moving as per schedule.
